Cabin Fever is a small company designing and building prefabricated kitset homes and structures for shipping in the US and internationally. Having started in Feburary 2012, I have been involved with the design, logistics and construction of 34 buildings.

I started with the company as a Fabricator, taking my skills in the workshop and honing them for the construction of our prefabricated building parts. In the two years that I have been at Cabin Fever, I have been an Industrial Designer, creating custom foundation elements for manufacture, a Graphic Designer creating marketing material for promotions, a Web Designer upgrading the old CF website to it’s new skin, and a 3D Modeller and Rendered preparing imagery of buildings and new design elements. I am also involved with the organization of the workshop floor, and the specifying and ordering of materials, as well as the project management and logistics of each design we build and hundreds of parts we ship.

Cabin Fever is a small company that has had it’s ups and downs. It has been an amazing experience to be apart of such a unique business, and it has been very rewarding to have been able to grow my responsibilities within the company.
